OYSTER REEF MESH BIO - BAGGED OYSTER SHELL Oyster Reefs
Bio mesh for reef restoration
The construction of reefs for oysters (Oyster Reef/Bagged Oyster Shell). The tubular meshes are filled with empty oyster shells. These are piled up making a wall, first serving as a retaining wall against the waves, second, so that a biotope of local species is established, especially oysters, giving rise to a biotope in the area and third when the oyster colonies are established. These will purify the water in the area, improving the quality of the water and causing the establishment of more species. Being BIO, the mesh will disappear giving time for this artificial Biotope to establish itself (thanks to the live oysters, giving a hardness and consistency against the onslaught of nature.
